Moving?

If you are planning on moving soon, let us help make the process as simple and stress free as possible! There are many steps that go into moving and it is easy to forget something.

Let us know! The very first thing you should do if you plan on moving, is to give us proper notice. If you are renting month-to-month, we require 20 days notice. If you have a 12 month lease, we will need 30 days notice. Here you can find the exact vacate notice form we will need. When filling this out, please make sure ALL tenants initial and sign the designated areas. We are unable to accept the vacate notice unless it is completely filled out.

Clean, and then clean some more! One of the best ways to ensure you get most of your deposit back, is to make sure it is clean when you leave! Here is the exact cleaning list our crew goes through when they go in for a final cleaning. If you go through this yourself, you are only increasing your chances of getting the deposit back.

Finally, after everything has been cleaned and packed, you are now ready to return your keys. You can either bring your keys into our office, or we have a drop box outside the doors. If you decide to use the drop box, make sure you put the keys in an envelope with the following information: clearly marked address of the unit you just vacated, your first and last name, the date and the time you dropped them off. It is very important that you return the keys no later than 12:00pm on the last day of the lease.

After everything has been complete, we will send our crews in for a final inspection. Keep in mind it can take up to 21 days for us to process all paperwork and reports. If you get a deposit back, we will send it in the mail by the 21st day.
